OCR for Forms, Version 2.3
In addition to version 2.2’s added features of high speed verification, advanced ASCII controls and AccuID, OCR for Forms v2.3 now incorporates:
- Microsoft’s standard VBScripting capabilities to enable the user to perform string manipulation and mathematical calculations to data in both pre- and post-verification processing easily with this industry-standard scripting language.
- A New Quality Assurance Module expanded to enable an Image QA Specialist to not only track image quality, but to also adjust it.
- Kofax Image Controls 3.1, which provides full support of Kodak Digital Science 3500 and Bell+Howell 8000 series scanners.
- Kofax Image Filtering Parameters (i.e., deskew, despeckle, line removal) at scan time.
- Kofax Patch Code support to allow the scan process to split batches, document sets and do dynamic identification at scan time.
